A large portion of our programs in Arizona include Children's Vision Screening. Since children do not know when they are not seeing as they should, and Arizona does not require vision screenings in our schools, we train school nurses, administrators and community volunteers to be vision screeners.
We conduct vision screenings at schools, pre-schools, community centers and events. Our goal in 2002 is to screen 50,000 children.
